The Antivirus Center

The Antivirus Center is where administrators see how their organization is protected. Open Settings → Security → Antivirus. You need the View Antivirus permission.

Overview

• The protection orb — "You're protected", and how long ago Antivirus was last updated. If it ever says Antivirus is catching up, files are held safely until they're checked: nothing unchecked gets through.
• The numbers — files checked today, this week and this month, what was blocked or allowed with caution, and how many emails were checked.
• The charts — checks and blocks day by day, where files came from (email, chat, documents, uploads…), and what kinds of harm were found.

Threats

Every file Antivirus stopped, newest first, with who was involved, where it came from, and what happened to it. Search by file name, filter by where it came from or what happened, and report a false alarm from any row. The list updates by itself as new files are checked. An empty list is good news: Nothing harmful found.

Policy

The switches that decide who is told and how cautious to be. See Antivirus Policy Switches. Changing them needs the Manage Antivirus Policy permission, and every change is recorded in the security log.

False Alarms

Reports of files people believe were stopped by mistake, and where each one stands: waiting for review, cleared, or confirmed harmful.
