How to Create a Web Chat Persona

Create a web chat persona: a named character that answers chats on your website, trained on your industry and your offer. A persona is a job title whose job description is its instructions, so you write it the same way you would describe a job. (Older screens called these "SI sales agents".)

Before you start

You need Manage AI Settings to manage personas, and Configure System Settings to change a persona's job description.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Super Intelligence → Daily Work → Web Chat Personas.
2. Click New Persona. The gallery opens at its own address, under Web Chat Personas.
3. Pick a starting point: an industry template, which prefills the job description with that industry's typical questions and wording, or Blank to start empty.
4. Enter a Persona Name, and click Create Persona. Kamo creates a job title called "Sales Agent — " followed by the name, and says so before you create it.
5. The persona's own page opens. Its address is its name, so you can bookmark it. Write its Charter: how it should talk, what it should know and ask for, what it must never do, and when to hand over to a person. Click Save Charter. If you leave with unsaved changes, Kamo asks first.
6. Optionally, under Rehearse Persona, click Compile The Brief to check it is ready for web chat.
7. Turn on Answering Chats.
8. Put it on your website: under Settings → Chat → Web Chat, choose it as an integration's Web Chat Persona. The Web Chat Personas page links there with Your Websites.

There is no separate publish step. Chats use the saved job description as soon as you save it.

To manage existing personas

Each persona is a card with its job title, industry, the websites that use it, and whether it is Answering chats. Turn one on or off, open it, or delete it. Deleting a persona keeps its job title; websites that used it fall back to their default answers.

On a persona's page, How it's doing shows its real conversations over the last days: how many, how often a person had to take over and why, and the messages it sent first or decided not to send.
