How to Rename Branches, Members and Team Members

Replace KamoUniverse's generic "Branch," "Member," and "Team Member" terminology with your own organization's vocabulary. See What is custom labeling? for how these terms propagate through the product.

Before you start

The Configure System right.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Essential Setup → Behavior & Labeling, find the Custom Labels card, and click Edit.
2. For each of Branch, Member, and Team Member, fill in the forms that apply:
   • Plural and Singular for all three.
   • Abstract for Member and Team Member only.
3. If your organization is a child of a parent org, you can check Sync from parent on any field instead of typing your own value — that field then always matches the parent's label.
4. Click Save.

What you'll see

Your custom terminology appears everywhere those concepts show up across the product, including elsewhere in Settings (e.g. role names reference "Members"/"Team Members" using these same labels).
