How to Dial a Department with Speed Dial
Quickly dial another department's extension without knowing or typing its number.
Before you start
At least one department in your organization needs an extension configured (in Settings) for anything to appear here.
Steps
- Open the softphone (top nav phone icon → Call).
- Click the Speed tab.
- Each department that has an extension configured is listed with its title and extension number. Click one to dial it immediately.
What you'll see
The call is placed the same as dialing that number by hand. If no department has an extension set up yet, the tab tells you so rather than showing an empty list; if the list fails to load, tap it to retry.
