How to View and Adjust Your Timecard
View your recorded punches for a pay period, and stage a correction (for example, a missing punch) for HR approval.
Before you start
- You're enrolled in timecard tracking. If you aren't, this tab doesn't appear at all — there's nothing to turn it on from here (enrollment is an HR action).
Steps
- Open My Account (click your name/avatar, or go to your own member profile at Settings → My Account).
- Click the Timecard tab.
- Your current status (On the clock / Off the clock) and tracking mode are shown at the top, followed by your punches for the current pay period as a visual timeline — one bar per day, colored by kind (worked time, meal, break).
- To move an existing punch, drag its block on the timeline; drag either end to change just the start or end of a span. Two blocks of the same kind that end up within five minutes of each other snap together into one.
- To add a punch that was never recorded, right-click on the timeline (or use the Add a missing time button), choose what was missed (clock in, clock out, start/end of meal, start/end of break) and when it happened, then click Add it. It's staged into your draft — nothing is written yet.
- Repeat for as many changes as you need. Everything is staged; you can keep moving things around freely.
- When you're done, click Save changes. You'll be asked to explain the changes once, in a single dialog — this explanation is required and is kept on the wage record itself.
- Type your reason and click Record the changes.
What you'll see
Your changes are recorded and sent for approval — they don't take effect on the official record until an HR admin approves the resulting timecard. If you navigate away or reload before saving, your staged draft is discarded and the timecard reverts to what the server has (nothing is written outside of Save).
A period that has already been closed by HR is read-only — you can still see the punches, but you can't drag or add to them.
