Notifications

What KamoUniverse tells you about, and how.

What you'll find here

  • The Notification Center: where notifications gather, what you can be told about, and the settings that decide how and when.
  • How to View and Manage Your Notifications: reading, snoozing, clearing and acting on them.

Why you might not get one

Notifications come in kinds: an event reminder, a task assigned to you, a mention in a chat, an AI member asking for your approval. Each kind belongs to a feature, and some are tied to a permission. If a feature is switched off for your organization, or you don't hold the permission a kind needs, you won't receive it and nothing will say so. For example, only people who can see the AI workforce receive approval requests and AI alerts.

That's the usual explanation for "everyone got told except me". The fix is a permission change, and it's an administrator's to make. The other usual explanation is your own settings: a kind you muted, quiet hours, or Do not disturb.

Badges

The number on the bell counts unread notifications. Chat has its own separate count, and so does the system bug indicator: three badges, three different things being counted. They don't add up to each other and aren't meant to. The Approvals tab of the Interaction Center has a count of its own too, of AI members' requests waiting for you.

Your universe is waiting.
