Importing Leads
Bringing leads in from a file you already have — a spreadsheet from a supplier, an export from a system you're leaving, a list from an event.
If leads arrive regularly from the same source, don't do this by hand every week. Automated Lead Intake lets that supplier send them straight in.
What you'll find here
- How to Import Leads from a CSV File — the main article. Includes mapping your spreadsheet's columns onto KamoUniverse's fields, which is the part that takes the thought.
- How to Manage Saved Import Templates — save a mapping once and the next file from the same source imports in a click.
- How to Review Past Imports and Re-Import Failed Rows — every import is recorded, and rows that failed can be fixed and run again without redoing the whole file.
Before you import
Have the market, vendor and product ready. Every imported lead needs all three, and an import that can't resolve them fails row by row rather than telling you once at the start.
Check whether your file has a header row, and say so on the import screen. Telling it there are no headers when there are will quietly import your column names as a lead.
